On Sunday, October 12, 2025 , JIRO Robotics Indonesia officially attended the 11th Nusantara Robot Contest (KRON 2025) which was held at Garuda Hall, ICE BSD City , Tangerang.

The KRON event is a significant milestone in the AI and robotics innovation scene in Indonesia, and is also supported by Sinar Mas Land through its Digital Hub, an effort to strengthen the technology ecosystem and foster young talent.

On this occasion, JIRO introduced two flagship robot units designed for industrial and commercial applications, while also proving that local robotics innovation is ready to compete on the national stage.

KRON (Nusantara Robot Contest) is a national-scale robotics and AI competition that was initially organized by RACER Robotics and has now developed into a prestigious event with a regional reach in Southeast Asia.

Some of the advantages and interesting facts of KRON 2025:

This year's theme is "Rise of the Ocean Generation: Youth, Unity, and AI Robotics" , reflecting the spirit of the younger generation to synergize creativity, collaboration, and AI technology in responding to global challenges.
More than 1,000 participants from various cities in Indonesia participated, including delegates from Southeast Asian countries, as well as hundreds of teachers, mentors, and STEAM activists.
Various competition categories: Drone Soccer, Robot Theater, Brick Speed AI Coding Creative, Coding Mission, Road Challenge, Humanoid Mission, Sumo Rumble, Kinder Mission, up to 2 on 2 Soccer.
In addition to competitions, KRON also presents workshops, STEM & AI seminars, educational conferences, maker expos, and pre-event roadshows.
This event brings together students, academics, industry, and communities as a form of collaboration in the development of robotics and AI technology in Indonesia.
