Tangerang, 19 September 2023 - Imajin, an Indonesian technology startup engaged in manufacturing, attended the HUB.ID Summit 2023 was held by Kemkominfo in Nusa Dua, Bali on 14-16 September 2023. Imajin was selected as one of the 80 startups that joined the event.
This year, HUB ID Summit focuses on healthcare, financial tech, education technology, agriculture, logistics, SME enablers, and enterprise. Imajin, which is a platform provider as an SME enabler in manufacturing, participated in this event.
Imajin is a startup that provides a web app platform to connect manufacturing industry players with various services and products needed, such as raw materials, manufacturing services and machining centers. Imajin's platform has been used by more than 700 manufacturing industry players in Indonesia.
Imajin's CEO & Co Founder, Chendy Jaya, said that Imajin's presence at HUB.ID Summit 2023 is a good opportunity to collaborate with other startups and investors.

HUB.ID Summit 2023 is an international conference organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkominfo), this year collaborating with Nexticorn Foundation with the event title HUB.ID Summit X Nexticorn 2023. The conference aims to connect Indonesian tech startups with global investors.
"In today's event, we involve 80 digital startups and invite 80 global venture capital and this does not include Nexticorn. We also involve more than 16 existing startup sectors and 10 venture capital countries involved," said Director of Digital Economy at the Directorate General of Applications and Informatics of the Ministry of Communication and Information I Nyoman Adhiarna in Nusa Dua, Friday.
According to Adhiarna, the development of startups in Indonesia in recent years has spurred the government to make startups compete in the global market, including by creating an adequate business climate and supporting regulations.
He said the role of the government in the future will change significantly where in the past, the government focused on the role as a regulator, making rules, but in the future the role of the government is more as a driver and accelerator so that the business continues to grow and develop into a new economic force.
"With the consistent support from Kemkominfo such as this activity, we hope to expand the impact of the use of our platform, while strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem in Indonesia," said Chendy.
